About Jane
Jane Rolen is no stranger to setbacks. She has collected them like frequent flyer miles. But rather than being grounded by them, she turned them into the very fuel that built her resilience. She is living proof that leadership is not built in spite of struggles, but through them.
With over 26 years in a decorated government career and recognition as a multi-awarded community leader, Jane equips leaders across sectors to reclaim their voices, resilience, and purpose using the same tools that transformed her own journey.
As the first Filipino podcaster in Georgia, she has released close to 100 episodes of Usapang Pinoy, amplifying immigrant stories often left unheard. She also launched Georgia's Filipino American History Month celebrations, growing them from two events in 2019 to ten by 2025.
Recognized as an Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC) Everyday Hero, one of the 25 Most Influential Asian Americans in Georgia, and featured in Marquis Who's Who in America, Jane is as much a cultural advocate as she is a connector of people. Onstage and off, Jane is known for her warmth, humor, and straight talk about resilience.
She doesn't just speak about overcoming setbacks. She shows how to use them as stepping stones to purpose and impact.
Career
Jane began her federal career in 1998 as a Claims Representative under the Outstanding Scholar Program at the U.S. Social Security Administration. Over 26 years she rose through leadership roles including Operations Supervisor, Labor Relations Specialist, Executive Assistant to the Regional Commissioner, and Team Leader for Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity. She retired with the Commissioner's Citation, SSA's highest honor.
A Life of Service, On and Off the Clock
As President of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Georgia from 2021 to 2023, Jane launched community initiatives that expanded engagement across the state. She served as Board Advisor for Galing Foundation for 17 years, supporting literacy programs and clean water access for schools in the Philippines. She represents her community through the Office of the Honorary Consul General at events including MLK's Beloved Community International Expo, Atlanta's World Migrants Day, and the AANHPI Celebration. In 2019, Jane initiated and led the first Filipino American History Month celebrations in Georgia. What began as 2 events has grown to 10 annual events by 2025.
